Volleyball Recap: Landmark Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Landmark Christian entered their tilt with Sandy Creek on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the War Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kynnedi Terry paced Landmark Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Terry got some help from Kaitlyn Brezina and her 12 assists. Brezina was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Landmark Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Landmark Christian and Sandy Creek will both be playing Lovett the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the War Eagles will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
