Basketball Recap: Avary Claxon and Addi Claxon Secure Win for South Webster

There's no place like home for South Webster, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They took down the South Gallia Rebels 43-29 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Jeeps, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading South Webster to victory were Addi Claxon and Avary Claxon. Addi almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Avary went 8-for-13 on her way to 17 points and five boards. Addi has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times she's played.

The victory got South Webster back to even at 1-1. As for South Gallia, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, South Webster will square off against Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Gallia, they will face off against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
