Football Game Preview: Reeds Spring Wolves vs. Cassville Wildcats

The Reeds Spring Wolves will face off against the Cassville Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Reeds Spring comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Reeds Spring is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost to Hollister at home by a 56-42 margin on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cassville entered their tilt with Aurora on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Houn Dawgs, posting a 42-14 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Houn Dawgs are ranked 154th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cassville's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Reeds Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Reeds Spring was able to grind out a solid victory over Cassville when the teams last played back in November of 2022, winning 14-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
