Volleyball Recap: Ariminty Yu Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Gabrielino

San Marino won the last time they faced Gabrielino and things went their way on Monday too. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20.

San Marino's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ariminty Yu led the charge by getting 25 digs and three aces. Yu is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Cynthia Kackstetter was another key player, getting 22 assists and five digs.

San Marino's record is now 19-14-1. As for Gabrielino, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-7.

San Marino wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Pasadena on the 14th. Gabrielino has also already played their next matchup (against El Monte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
