Baseball Recap: Sardis Find Success

Sardis was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Scottsboro Wildcats 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since February 22, 2025.

The team relied heavily on Adam Belk, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Belk wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Sardis lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Sardis' victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Scottsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
