Soccer Game Preview: Frederick vs. Skyline

Frederick is 0-9 against Skyline since September of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will host the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The matchup will give Frederick their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Frederick came up short against Greeley Central last Tuesday, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Frederick were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Skyline can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They and Longmont finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for Skyline as the team haven't won a game since September 4th.

Thomas Martinez was the only thing that stood between Skyline and a shutout considering he scored both of Skyline's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Skyline's draw makes their record 2-7-1 this season. As for Frederick, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
