Oldenburg Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Union County, but Grady Coyle wouldn't allow it. The Union County Patriots managed a 50-44 win over the Oldenburg Academy Twisters on Friday thanks to Coyle, who went 8-for-10 on his way to 22 points and six boards. What's more, he also posted a 80% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Union County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Oldenburg Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
