Softball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Kimball was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 10-2 to the Mountain House Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in February.

Saige Dodds was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Kimball has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Mountain House, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-6.

Kimball wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-3 win against West on the 25th. As for Mountain House, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Le Grand on the 25th.
