Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dieterich). They claimed a resounding 72-38 win over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. The Movin Maroons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Dieterich's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Westendorf, who dropped a triple-double with 15 points, 13 boards, and ten assists. Westendorf has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Will, who went 7-for-8 on his way to 17 points.

Dieterich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Martinsville only six offensive boards.

When it comes to explaining why Martinsville lost on Tuesday, don't look at Adam Parcel. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-19 en route to 24 points and six boards. That's the most points Parcel has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gavin Leloup, who scored six points and three steals.

Dieterich's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Martinsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

Dieterich has already played their next game, a 67-45 victory against Robinson on the 13th. As for Martinsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-21 win against Dugger Union on the 13th.
