Softball Recap: South Plantation's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Plantation can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Doral Academy Firebirds on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Paladins have suffered since March 14th.

South Plantation saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Rodriguez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

With the loss, South Plantation broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-12. As for Doral Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 29-1.
