Basketball Recap: Jumpertown Takes a Loss

Jumpertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-32 loss at the hands of the Falkner Eagles. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-63 back in December of 2024.

Elijah Mauney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Falkner, going 7 for 12 en route to 21 points and six steals. The contest was Mauney's third in a row with at least ten points. Chris Nunley was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and six steals.

Jumpertown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Falkner, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Jumpertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Falkner, they will face off against Byers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Falkner is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
