The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks will venture away from home to take on Longview Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. CHAAMP HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season.
If Longview Christian heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when CHAAMP HomeSchool took over last week. CHAAMP HomeSchool walked away with a 61-48 win over Campbell on Tuesday. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 691st, while the Indians are ranked 1659th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caelan DeLisi had an outrageously good game as he went 9 for 20 on his way to 22 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Hefner, who posted nine points and five rebounds.
CHAAMP HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Longview Christian came up short against King's Academy on Tuesday and fell 54-47.
CHAAMP HomeSchool will have to keep a close watch on Judah Sandel and Obed Sandel, a pair of players who had a big impact on Longview Christian's prior game. Judah dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards, while Obed put up 13 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Obed is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ikey Diffie, who posted six points.
Longview Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: CHAAMP HomeSchool has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 35.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Longview Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
CHAAMP HomeSchool ended up a good deal behind Longview Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, losing 62-47. Can CHAAMP HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
