Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Gets the Win

After losing to Sacred Heart the last time they met, Notre Dame decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Notre Dame Pioneers won by a run and slipped past the Sacred Heart Trojans 7-6. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one run.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Sacred Heart, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will face off against St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Notre Dame has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sacred Heart, they will welcome Beau Chene at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Sacred Heart is facing Beau Chene at the right time seeing as Beau Chene is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
