Columbia Christian came out on top against Lafayette County on Monday thanks in part to Kash Smith's efforts. Smith did his part (and then some), scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances for the 'W'. He has become a key player for Columbia Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Smith and Columbia Christian will head out to challenge Bradley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will enter the matchup having just beaten Hermitage, so the Crusaders will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
