Medomak Valley and Oceanside are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Medomak Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Oceanside will be coming in after a defeat.

Medomak Valley took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 40-14 margin over York. Considering the Panthers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Oceanside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between the Mariners and Oak Hill didn't end well, with the Mariners falling 28-14.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Medomak Valley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Things could have been worse for Medomak Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Oceanside in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Panthers, Zeb Foster (who rushed for 239 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
