Soccer Recap: Purvis vs. Sumrall
Purvis lost against Sumrall back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Purvis Tornadoes lost 7-0 to the Sumrall Bobcats. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Purvis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sumrall, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purvis will take on Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumrall, they will square off against Forrest County Agricultural at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
