Soccer Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona lost against Bassett back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pomona Red Devils might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bassett Olympians an easy 4-0 victory. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Bassett, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Pomona will be home for the holidays to greet Mark Keppel at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mark Keppel's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bassett, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bassett is facing St. Paul at the right time seeing as St. Paul is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
