Basketball Recap: Clarendon Piles Up the Points Against Quanah

Clarendon won the last time they faced Quanah and things went their way on Friday too. The Clarendon Broncos blew past the Quanah Indians, posting a 71-30 victory. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Indians are ranked 439th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Clarendon and bumps their season record up to 15-4. As for Quanah, they moved to 16-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Clarendon will take on Portales in a tournament on Friday. As for Quanah, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Panhandle at 2:15 p.m. on December 31st.
