Baseball Game Preview: St. Joseph Knights vs. Righetti Warriors + Official Tickets

The St. Joseph Knights will face off against the Righetti Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Joseph will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

St. Joseph's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Morro Bay with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Connor Chanley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.

St. Joseph always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rio Mesa hit Righetti with a five-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 6-5.

Kamron Walker made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

Righetti's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 20-5-1.
