Basketball Game Preview: North Lamar Panthers vs. Sulphur Springs Wildcats

Sulphur Springs will be up against a hot North Lamar team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. North Lamar enjoyed a cozy 61-42 win over Pittsburg on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs was able to grind out a solid victory over Pleasant Grove on Tuesday, taking the game 61-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Sulphur Springs has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for North Lamar, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

North Lamar didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Sulphur Springs in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-46 victory.
