It was a proper cat-fight when M.L. King challenged Forest Park on Saturday. The M.L. King Lions were the clear victor by a 31-8 margin over the Forest Park Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 37-19 win last Tuesday.

M.L. King was led to victory by Jamoney Hayes and Zya Taylor. Hayes posted five points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals, while Taylor scored ten points and three steals. Hayes is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ka'Leah Gibson, who earned seven boards.

M.L. King smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 13 consecutive contests.

M.L. King's victory bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Forest Park, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-22.

M.L. King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Midtown on the 10th. Forest Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
