Basketball Recap: Bakersfield Christian Piles Up the Points Against Frontier

There's no place like home for Bakersfield Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They breezed by the Frontier Titans to the tune of 78-44 on Tuesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Titans are ranked 484th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Frontier's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dallin Crawford, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Crawford is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. Zach Garnett was another key player, going 6 for 15 on his way to 15 points.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.4 points per game. As for Frontier, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-11.
