Soccer Recap: Monte Vista Gets the Win

Monte Vista won the last time they faced Southwest SD and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Monte Vista Monarchs skirted past the Southwest SD Raiders 2-1.

Damian Guerrero Paz and Anthony Briseno-Raddatz scored both of Monte Vista's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Monte Vista now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwest SD, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2-3.

Monte Vista will take on Bonita Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest SD, they will square off against San Ysidro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
