Baseball Recap: Fort Calhoun Victorious

Fort Calhoun won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pioneers walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Arlington's batters probably weren't too happy with Levi Lasher, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up two walks).

At the plate, Fort Calhoun saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Tinkham, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Tinkham a new career-high. Charlie Boumstein was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Fort Calhoun's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Arlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
