Pine Forest is a perfect 10-0 against E.E. Smith since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Pine Forest will be playing at home against E.E. Smith at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pine Forest and eight for E.E. Smith dating back to last season.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pine Forest's offense. They came up short against Harnett Central on Wednesday, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, E.E. Smith lost 14-2 to Overhills on Friday.

E.E. Smith saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keziah Speller, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Speller also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

E.E. Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pine Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Pine Forest took their victory against E.E. Smith in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 20-3. Will Pine Forest repeat their success, or does E.E. Smith has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
