Volleyball Recap: Poynette Takes a Loss

Poynette suffered their biggest defeat since September 18th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Waupun Warriors. The Pumas' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-19.

Poynette's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Waupun, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Poynette is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Mills at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Waupun will challenge rival Lodi at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
