The Wharton Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wharton faced off against King on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wharton was: they took every set by at least 21 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-3, 25-4.

Wharton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makiah Bryant, who had 24 aces. Wiregrass Ranch's win came from a few key players Wharton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tanner Henderson, who had 31 digs. Those 31 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Spearin, who had 19 assists and 15 digs.

Wharton's record now sits at 10-8. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their record is now 18-5.
