After a 19-0 finish the last time they played, Point Loma and Christian decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. The Point Loma Pointers took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Patriots on Thursday. Point Loma was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Ryoko Schroth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just zero earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
