Volleyball Recap: Smithton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Smithton faced off against Linn on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jozie Moulton paced Smithton's offense, picking up four kills. Moulton were helped by Eden Herren and Drew Bray, who contributed three assists each.

Smithton's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Linn, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5-2 record this season.

Smithton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Eugene on the 29th. As for Linn, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Capital City on the 29th.
