Preview: Norwalk Bears vs. Trumbull Eagles
The Norwalk Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Trumbull Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Norwalk came up short against Danbury and fell 77-65. Norwalk has not had much luck with Danbury recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Trumbull unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Stamford by a score of 62-59.
Norwalk's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Trumbull, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-2.
Norwalk ended up a good deal behind Trumbull in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, losing 62-46. Can Norwalk avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
