After flying high against Alma last Friday, Freeland came back down to earth. The Freeland Falcons took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankenmuth Eagles on Monday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankenmuth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Macy Donovan, who posted 15 points. Donovan is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Rosemary Brenner was another key player, putting up six points and five steals.

Freeland's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Frankenmuth, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Freeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frankenmuth, they have already played their next game, a 41-27 victory against Portland on the 12th.
