Softball Recap: Conrad Wins Going Away Against Cut Bank

While Conrad put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Cut Bank. The Cowboys blew past the Wolves 16-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Evagelene Denzer was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Claire Long was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Conrad always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Conrad's record now sits at 8-11. As for Cut Bank, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Conrad will square off against Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. Cut Bank does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
