New Lothrop is 10-0 against Lakeville since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Two weeks ago, New Lothrop had to suffer through a 63-34 loss at the hands of Ovid-Elsie. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Marauders are ranked 130th).

Meanwhile, Lakeville was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 53-38 bruising from Brown City.

New Lothrop's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lakeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went New Lothrop's way against Lakeville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as New Lothrop made off with a 53-30 win. Will New Lothrop repeat their success, or does Lakeville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
