Softball Recap: Westminster Christian Wildcats vs. Eureka Wildcats        
        
		
             Westminster Christian's found some homefield redemption this week after a  overtime loss to St. Francis Borgia on Wednesday. The Westminster Christian Wildcats came out on top against the Eureka Wildcats by a score of  5-1. The  win was a breath of fresh air for Westminster Christian as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Charlie Berkmeyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Allison Branstetter was  incredible,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Westminster Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Eureka,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-9.
 Westminster Christian will head out to  take on Lutheran South  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Eureka, they will challenge Incarnate Word Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
