Scurry-Rosser skates past Palmer with ease

Recap: Scurry-Rosser Wildcats vs. Palmer Bulldogs

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They breezed by Palmer at home to the tune of 69-26. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-12.

Despite the loss, Palmer saw an underclassman step up: Kenli Dobie scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Davis, who scored six points.

The win makes it two in a row for Scurry-Rosser and bumps their season record up to 10-14. As for Palmer, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Scurry-Rosser will head out on the road to square off against Kemp at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kemp has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 14. As for Palmer, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rice at 6:15 p.m. Rice is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 12 games.
