Celina came tearing into Friday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Findlay Trojans. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 12-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Celina's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Findlay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Celina didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-0 victory against Ottawa-Glandorf on the 17th. As for Findlay, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
