Baseball Recap: Silver Creek Takes a Loss

Silver Creek and Ann Sobrato squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Silver Creek had to settle for second. They lost 11-5 to the Bulldogs. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Silver Creek saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert 'Bobby' Resendez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Wyatt Sharp also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Ann Sobrato, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

As of now, neither Silver Creek nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
