Baseball Recap: Bartlett Wins Going Away Against Quaboag Regional

Bartlett barely beat Quaboag Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Cougars 9-2 on Saturday. Considering the Indians have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Luigi Villegas was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Urato, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bartlett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Bartlett now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Quaboag Regional, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Bartlett will take on Grafton at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Gators' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Quaboag Regional, they will be playing at home against Leicester at 3:30 p.m. on the 28th.
