Choctawhatchee's hitters rose to the challenge against a Yellowjackets pitching crew that boasted an average of only 4.08 runs allowed on Wednesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Woodford County Yellowjackets. Considering the Indians have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Isaiah Rohn looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaron Rowell, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Ryan Saffo was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
