Basketball Game Preview: Dallas HSAA Red Blue Angels vs. John Paul II Cardinals

The Dallas HSAA Red Blue Angels will head out to challenge the John Paul II Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dallas HSAA Red has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Dallas HSAA Red is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 65-34 victory over Newman International Academy. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Angels as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, John Paul II came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 75-66.

Dallas HSAA Red's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for John Paul II, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 15-12.

Dallas HSAA Red came up short against John Paul II in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 82-72. Can Dallas HSAA Red avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
