Westfield had won seven straight home games and Nolan Rodgers did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Bombers came out on top against the Longmeadow Lancers by a score of 3-1 thanks in part to Rodgers, who had 26 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Westfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Longmeadow lost, don't look at Chris Bousquet. Despite the final result, he had 23 digs and two assists.

Westfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Longmeadow, they moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Westfield nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
