Basketball Recap: Cochrane-Fountain City Comes Up Short

The Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stratford Tigers on Friday. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cochrane-Fountain City's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Stratford, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Cochrane-Fountain City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stratford, they and Bangor will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Bangor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Stratford likes a good challenge.
