Basketball Recap: Star Valley Takes a Loss

Star Valley lost against Natrona County on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Star Valley Braves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-62 to the Natrona County Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Star Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Natrona County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Star Valley is taking a road trip to challenge Evanston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Natrona County, they will be playing at home against Rock Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Natrona County likes a good challenge.
