             Centennial and Shadow Ridge are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2017, but  not for long. The Centennial Bulldogs will challenge the Shadow Ridge Mustangs at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
 Centennial needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from  Brooke Cummings. Centennial put the hurt on Desert Oasis with a sharp  3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to  Cummings, who  had 13  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in September.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Centennial was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12,  25-9.
 Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with three straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Skyhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win the Mustangs have posted  against the Skyhawks since November 6, 2017.
 While Shadow Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13,  25-23.
 Among those leading the charge was   Elaina Smith, who  had 17  digs.
 Shadow Ridge  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in four consecutive  matches.
 Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 24-13. As for Shadow Ridge, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record  this season.
