Football Recap: New Rochelle Starts Season with Win at Home

New Rochelle gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 26-14 win over the Arlington Admirals.

Despite the loss, Arlington still got an impressive performance from Chase Harris, who rushed for 120 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 49 yards and two touchdowns. Harris' longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

New Rochelle will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Yonkers at 4:30 p.m. on the 7th. As for Arlington, they have already played their next match, a 13-6 victory against North Rockland on the 31st.
