Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Alleman walked away with it. They blew past the Genoa-Kingston Cogs 4-0 on Saturday. Alleman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was Alleman's third in a row) raised their record to 13-6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Genoa-Kingston, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-3.

Coming up, Alleman will take on Byron at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Byron will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Alleman surely won't give up without a fight. Genoa-Kingston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
