Faith Academy hadn't done well against St. Michael Catholic recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20.

A'Ryiah Brooks paced Faith Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brooks got some help from Chloe Duggan and her 38 assists. Kiersten Parker-Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Faith Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season. As for St. Michael Catholic, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Faith Academy will welcome Lawrence County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael Catholic, they will head out to square off against St. Paul's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
