A Season-Best Effort from Jayden Jackson Leads Franklin over Troy
On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Jayden Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.9 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Jackson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Little River Academy on Friday. When Jackson last faced the Bumblebees back in November of 2023, he rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.

Tim Grice Goes Supernova in C.H. Yoe Victory
C.H. Yoe's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Tim Grice. Grice did his part (and then some), picking up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 92 yards.
C.H. Yoe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Grice and C.H. Yoe will challenge Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Erik Sheppard's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rockdale over Little River Academy
While Erik Sheppard delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Rockdale. Sheppard turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockdale's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. Sheppard and Rockdale will venture away from home to square off against McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brody Allen Delivers Best Performance of Season
Little River Academy was led to victory by Brody Allen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allen rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.
Little River Academy moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Allen and Little River Academy will host Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Radyn Hamilton Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Rockdale came up short on Friday despite Radyn Hamilton delivering his best game to date. Hamilton rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles.
This season, Hamilton has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
