Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Rockhurst last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawklets. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Rockhurst, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Staley on the 1st. As for Rockhurst, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Lee's Summit North on the 1st.
