Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a hard 65-47 fall against the United Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-42 back in December of 2025.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for United Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-22.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hamilton and California Lutheran will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for United Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against La Sierra Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.62 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
